LEGAXIS KOI FISH SERIES
LEGAXIS’s new series “KOI FISH” is inspired by the extraordinaryJapanese fish “Nishiki Koi”. The glossy look of the Koi is replicated by putting a pearlescent glitter in the steam coating paint. The tama design inspired by koi color schemes is a new concept that still preserves tama tracking and visibility of the rotation at the same time. Please enjoy the “KOI FISH” series which gives a glimpse into the new concept of minimal design.
The Koi scales are represented on the tama with a continuous triangle laser engraving pattern on the tama with black paint.
The Japanese classic rokuro line on the kenj-iri expresses the color of the koi reflecting on surface of the water. It also enhances the visibility of the ken when rotating.
For the “KOI FISH” series, we are using metal bearings beads in place of standard plastic beads. The bearing beads help keep your string untangled during long tricks and while juggling .
By painting color in the bevel, it increases the visibility and chance of spiking the tama.
The LEGAXIS tama has a tacky steam coat finish which makes balance tricks much easier.
The illustration of the Koi is engraved on the ken positioned by your thumb when gripping the ken.
The LEGAXIS shape is designed to perform well during competitive use. Every trick type can be done with this beautifully shaped ken. The change of this new shape looks thin, but we worked hard to find the ultimate balance between practicality and beauty. We are proud to introduce this modern shape in kendama.

We created a wider inner Tama hole for easier spikes, and easier releases for tricks like Jumping Stick.
By making the Sarado wider and revamping the curves, Gunslinger ease is maintained while putting the center of gravity near the Sarado for better Lunars. We have achieved the best balance possible.
By expanding the diameter of the base cup, Lighthouses sit firm and Instas hit cleaner. The added volume in the base cup makes for cleaner Kenflips and Gunslingers.
